Dettagli

The growing interest in modeling superconductors has led to the development of increasingly effective numerical models and software. COMSOL Multiphysics has been widely used in the applied superconductivity community, especially for simulating high-temperature superconductors. Beside the use of numerical models for research and industrial applications, the question of how to teach and to explain the operation of superconductors to students has arisen. In this contribution, we present the web server AURORA, which features a series of web applications simulating different aspects of superconductors, ranging from microscopic to large scale. Within each application, the users can change the values of several parameters of the applications and observe the influence on the results.
