The nature of dark matter continues to be one of the most pressing issues facing particle physics. Traditionally, direct and indirect searches for dark matter have focused on searching for weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) dark matter in the GeV to 10 TeV range. However, decades of searches have yielded null results, which motivates extending the search to the sub-GeV regime. The simplest and most motivated scenario which envision dark matter as inhabiting a "hidden sector" and interacting via a hidden U(1) gauge boson (dark/heavy photon or A') is testable using accelerators. In this talk, I will describe the search for dark sectors, including both dark matter and dark forces, at particle accelerators with a particular focus on the Light Dark Matter eXperiment (LDMX), the Heavy Photon Search (HPS) and the A Prime EXperiment (APEX).
