I am a PhD student in bio-nanoscience at the University of Genova, affiliated with the Italian Institute of Technology. My research, under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Toma, is part of the ERC-2020-COG REPLY project, which focuses on developing plasmonic-based hybrid materials for enhanced photocatalytic applications. My work involves achieving strong light-matter interactions between plasmonic nanoantennas and low-dimensional semiconductors, utilizing advanced fabrication techniques such as electron beam lithography (EBL) and focused ion beam (FIB) processing.
