Research activity

My research field is about medical physics applied to Alzheimer's disease. The focus of my work is data analysis of brain PET images in order to investigate some aspects of Alzheimer's disease. More in detail, my research is related to quantification of cortical amyloid burden, which is an Alzheimer's disease biomarker.
I am also dealing with the problem of PET image harmonization, which is a very important challenge for multicentric studies.
Finally, I have made a database of PET images, and I am currently keeping the database updated when new PET images are provided to us.
