Research activity
My studies are carried out in the field of condensed matter physics, particularly soft matter, using theoretic and computational means. The two main projects I am contributing to are aggregation of carbon nanoparticles (Fullerenes) inside the lipid bilayer of cell membranes; aggregation of gold nanoparticles functionalized with a ligand shell, in water and in the presence of the cellular membrane.
